That's exactly NOT what it's about! which is why it didn't work for me the other times. I was WAITING for the big insight. The point of therapy and analysis is to experience transference with the therapist an thus to undo some of the blocks/trauma/problems/etc that are holding you back.

That isn't what transference means in therapy. Are you sure that's the word your looking for?
