poll (boring) how much was your electric bill this month?

$30ish. but neither my roomate or I are home & functional (as in, not sleeping) for more than 4 hours a day, if that.

you're kidding right i don't think i've ever had a $30 electic bill.

We're barely home. plus, neither of us watches TV that much, or uses the computer at home... she has an air conditioner in her room, but she's often not home a couple of days a week and it's rare that it's ever that hot that she needs to turn it on... this is an apartment, btw... i'm not sure if you're comparing a house's electricity bill...

also: we don't cook, we grill outside. I cleaned the apartment yesterday and had to DUST the stove. interesting.

I can't remember It's almost always over $x no matter what I do to conserve.

$x - friggin' roommates it's a little more for all sustainable energy sources. my gas bill was $x.

a solar powered attic fan might help but as a renter i guess you wouldn't want to install one my house is a four bedroom x antique

there is an attic fan, not solar powered and it helps a lot. before i lived here i lived in a small apartment and the bill was always over $x in the summer. a friend of mine lived in a shithole apt in the french quarter and his electric was more than his rent.

like $x my stove is not working though. and i use my television for about x hours a month to watch movies.

somewhere near x but that includes gas and electric.

just turned up my thermostat maybe vaulted ceilings aren't so cool.
