I'm still in mourning over the end of the Mets' season

The last time I went to a Mets game I was talking to a long time season ticket holder that was lamenting that the best way to ruin a player’s career was to pay them a lot of money to play for the Mets. The US open was going on at the same time, and let me tell you, those tennis fans can bore the paint off the subway train walls. And when I was in Cooperstown, there was no display for the ’x Mets World Series Championship. How did I know? From he screams in the hall “Where the fuck are the ’x Mets!
