Trying to find Buddy (the squirrel) a rehab center for his last little bit making it back into the wild. He is strong and very active now and on solid food. The one I have found that can take him requires a $40 "donation". I know it is the right thing to do as I have a lot of time and energy invested in him and I want him to thrive. It is what it is.

Well guess WHAT... just as I was sending that the guy from the Annapolis Sailing Academy came in, we have been talking about me teaching for them for a while..... I start on Sunday, $20 an hour to start until I have my teaching certificate in a few weeks and then a raise to $30. Getting paid to do something I love, I am still a little dumbfounded. HAPPY DANCE!!!! They teach on a little boat ed a Catalina 25 which I know inside out as I owned one before Wind-Rose came into my life. Funny how the universe provides. HAPPY DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic! I used to have a friend who's parents had a Dragonfly 800 named the Daphne Lynn. It used to be moored at Kilrush Marina in County Clare but I haven't seen it in over 15 years. I can't help but wonder if it is still around. Sailing is such a liberating experience, skimming across the water powered by nothing but the force of nature. I do miss those days. I am so happy to hear you found a chance to turn your love into a career. It's an inspiration to all. Wish Buddy good luck for me.
