where am I? Is this forum for Harrisburg area?

I figure if I can answer 2 of these 3 questions at any given time I'm doing alright; 1. Who am I? 2. Where am I? 3. What am I doing? So far it's worked well for me. When I get really old (and hopefully hooked up to a mobile morphine drip) I might narrow that down to 1 out of the 3.

Harrisburg forum Ok, maybe I should be a little more clear. I will be interviewing in Harrisburg for a job. I am looking to make some local contacts to find out about the community. I am not looking for a date. I want nothing to do with guys or married couples. ZERO tolerence for that. If you can post a web site I can go to or give general advice I would appresiate it.thanks

neighbohoods Ok. should I look for an apartment close to the capital area and have very little commute time to work? Is the housing expensive? Are they big dog friendly? How far would I have to travel to be in country ? Is housing expensive further out?

Not to be nit picky or a dork but your misspelling of neighborhoods is a fun one. If you say it how you wrote it, with the emphasis on making the middle o a hard one, it's a lot of fun...at least for an old broad who doesn't get out much ;>

getting out much? I'm glad I could be of service to give you a chuckle. Spelling is not my best subject. From the responses I have seen I was beginning to think that everyone was teenagers. I suppose I am looking for help in the wrong place.

You're the only Harrisburg poster I've seen here so I don't think anyone can give you good advice. I haven't been in that area in over a decade, and I'm sure things have changed (hopefully for the better). Try posting on that link from my previous post which is local to Harrisburg (this forum is world wide) and maybe someone who's actually there can help you.
