That was my first thought too
What we did was to talk to Jizzer like an adult, explain that he couldn't get what he wanted and why, and then continued loving him. At first we didn't think he was catching on, but he was. Then when he became gracious and acted calm when he didn't get what he asked for we found ways to encourage that behavior by rewarding in other ways. We thought he was too young to be spoiled, but were we ever wrong. It took x times as much effort to undo the spoiling, so it really wasn't the easy way out. We had to be strong and support each other when Jizzer didn't respond the way we wanted, but we couldn't just give in, it was for his own good. Now look at our Jizzer, all grown up *sniff*.
