LOL, I tried parenting, but they weren't much help on my problem. I'll look somewhere else. I do listen to daddies though! Just looking for someone who has had the same problem with their kiddie.

LOL, okay, well here goes: I have a x month old girl and she is starting this new thing where if she doesn't get something she wants (like a toy, cup, or piece of trash,haha) she starts really fussing and crying! She also really fusses if she sees me walk out the room! What can I do to help this or do I just have to live with it till she is old enough to learn "no". I don't think telling her "no" right now will do any good. We just give her tons of love and ntion anyway. I want to make sure that she feels secure, but I don't want her to become spoiled. I just think she is too young to be "spoiled".

That was my first thought too What we did was to talk to Jizzer like an adult, explain that he couldn't get what he wanted and why, and then continued loving him. At first we didn't think he was catching on, but he was. Then when he became gracious and acted calm when he didn't get what he asked for we found ways to encourage that behavior by rewarding in other ways. We thought he was too young to be spoiled, but were we ever wrong. It took x times as much effort to undo the spoiling, so it really wasn't the easy way out. We had to be strong and support each other when Jizzer didn't respond the way we wanted, but we couldn't just give in, it was for his own good. Now look at our Jizzer, all grown up *sniff*.

my first thought was to crate her. So many of these Q & As could work in both parenting and the petfo. It's kind of creepy when you think about it.
