Does anyone here have a close group of lesbian friends that all hang out together? Been watching the second season of "the L word", and I just wonder if a place like this exists (minus the obvious fact that its a dramatic TV show). :)

Thread hijack. So very rude of me. You were asking about lesbians hanging out and after glancing thru some threads, and seeing all the hungry bi's, I said we could go watch em hook-up, but decided That was a very boring idea. I do like to hang out with my buddies. Not quite L word, but I have a small group of buddies that meet up regular. Been buddies thru years and countless g/f's. We are there there for each other, thru thick and thin. Partied and played and lived life. They are my family.

Hey. Doing good. Waiting for Idol to be over so I can hang with fb. Been out and about and keeping busy. FB needs to buy a car by the end of month cuz hers won't smog. Talked to my boy in Hawaii. He's happy to be back in the good ole USA and spending money like crazy. How's it for you?

Watching the bi's try to get a woman to come home with them, while their "understanding" b/f sits in the corner eagerly crossing his fingers does sound like it might be amusing... if it wasnt so pathetic. And if it wasnt so prevalent. I have a group of girlfriends who have been tight since college, but I'm the only gay one, so I have to beg them to goto the gay bar with me. *sigh*

no, never wiht lesbians but i've had that scenario with a group of gay guys in s.f. but then we all decided we hated each other after six years or so. well, i'm still friends with two of them but they moved to palm springs. so maybe it was just like the L word.

Yes, but its' taken quite a while to develop. It was harder here (Portland) than anywhere else I've lived but I can't say for sure why. I think maybe since it's more liberal here you don't necessarily have to take refuge with other gay people; being out has never been too much of an issue. Have to give this some thought...
